What is the difference between Warrior Glue and Super Glue?

Super Glues are invariably water based, Warrior Glue is resin based. "Super Glue" is a generic term for a mixture of ingredients water, cyanoacrylate, plasticizers, and other fillers and just recently "rubberisers" have become the buzz word of the higher end brands and has been added to the list.

I’ve read that many of the leading brands are now adding rubberisers, does this not make the glue better?

IF it really works it may be desirable for certain applications where a shearing (across the bond) jerking tension is likely to be applied. However if it is as it seems just the latest buzz phrase in the industry its just another additive diluting the glues strength.

There have been some strongly worded contentions on various forums about whether pure glue is better than standard super glues how would you react?

People are always sceptical of new products. We’ve seen some of those responses. Some are clearly involved in the manufacture of “super glues” and so it is no surprise they want to undermine Warrior Glue. Others have based their arguments purely on what someone has entered onto Wikipedia on the subject of cyanoacrylate solutions (“super glues”). This entry is based purely around an article written previously based on the cyanoacrylate solutions around at the time. Some of the findings are true of Warrior Glue while others are well wide of the mark.

Does Warrior Glue stick glass?

Yes and No, is the only we can give. It will bond glass temporarily but will not stick it permanently (it becomes very brittle on glass when fully cured). Nor will it stick pure polyethylene, though it does stick polyethylene plastic kits in time and will stick polypropylene and dense polystyrene.

If pure glue is so good why has no one produced it before?

Only answer I can give this one is what one of the biggest UK manufacturers gave me when I originally asked the question. Well hmm, no one's asked for it before.
